About The ASSIST Program

Accessible Support Services and Instruction for Sustainable Transition (ASSIST) to work, addresses business and industry's challenge in employing highly skilled, technologically sound employees. ASSIST is a comprehensive and customizable education and support services program that will prepare participants for the competitive global workforce.

The objective of the ASSIST program is to deliver quality technological education and career training to South Carolina workers. ASSIST will achieve this by specialized training, providing support and career services through the Workforce Readiness Center. ASSIST will provide a sound foundation for a lifetime of learning and experience for the 21st century employee. The program ensures that the following individuals are at ease in learning and working around technology-enriched environments.
